Awarded 4 Stars from Quality in Tourism The Coach House is a DETACHED building standing in the grounds of a 17th Century Grade II listed farmhouse in the heart of the pretty village of Northney on Hayling Island, with its thatched cottages and farms. Hayling is situated between picturesque Langstone and Chichester Harbours and is only 5 minutes from the A27 and A3(M), providing an ideal base for exploring the best the South has to offer. Historic Portsmouth, with its Naval history and continental ferries, the Isle of Wight, the Cathedral City of Chichester, the New Forest, Chichester, Fontwell and Glorious Goodwood are within easy reach.
Relax on the Islands ‘Blue Flag’ beaches or enjoy windsurfing, sailing golfing, horse riding, walking and bird watching. There are excellent pubs and restaurants within easy reach.
The tastefully furnished accommodation is exceptionally spacious compromising of a 40ft studio with old stripped pine flooring throughout and large colourful rugs. There is an en suite shower room, king size bed and single bed (with optional screen).
There are tea/coffee making facilities plus biscuits, hot night drinks and fresh fruit. There is a fridge, microwave, trouser press, all linen, ironing facilities, hair dryer etc.
There is a lounge area (always with fresh flowers) for relaxing in with TV, radio, coffee tables, sofa, armchair and cushions.
There is also a dining area with table and chairs.
A full English breakfast of your choice is included and is served in the old beamed farmhouse or a full Continental breakfast (grapefruit or prunes, juice, cereals, croissants, cheeses, toast, yoghurt, preserves, fresh coffee and tea) can be served in the Studio.
Seating is provided in the delightful large mature grounds. There is ample parking for cars and boats and safe storage for bicycles and surf boards. Access is via the external staircase.
Being detached, The Coach House offers complete privacy.
Ideal for 2/3 (sorry, no small children).

Cross over Hayling Bridge. Take first left into Northney Road (before Texaco Garage). Follow this winding road for one mile where it becomes St. Peter's Road. Continue for a further half mile until you come to St. Peter's Church on the right. Church Lane is directly opposite. The Coach House (in the grounds of The Old House_ is the 4th house on the left - there is a signpost.
