Hayling For St George

A Gala Concert to celebrate St Georges Day and the Queens Diamond Jubliee
To commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Falklands conflict to be held on 22nd April 2012 in the presence of the Mayor & Mayoress of Havant. Music by HMS Collingwood Volunteer Band
Programme booked subject to change is as follows:
A Blessing will be given by our Padre for the Queen and our Armed forces
The Martlett Morrismen, St George and the Dragon Play performed by the Hayling Island Youngstars
Punch & Judy show, Wartime / Patriotic songs by the Hayling Island Musical society
Childrens Patriotic fancy dress competition, magic show
HM Collingwood Volunteer band who will perform the sunset ceremony, when the St Goerges flag will be lowered followed by a final blessing by our Padre.
In the afternoon's enertainment a collection will be taken for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.
