Goodwood Festival Of Speed

The Motor Sport team at Goodwood are now hard at work finding the most amazing and appropriate competition cars and motorcycles to bring the 2012 Festival of Speed theme of ‘Racing Revolutions – Quantum leaps that shaped motor sport’ to life. We have already secured a number of vehicles that have never been seen in the UK before, including some great Indy cars, and will be announcing a line-up of what to expect in the coming weeks and months, so be sure to stay tuned!

Road Directions

By road
Goodwood is located just outside Chichester, only 60 miles from London, 30 miles from Brighton and Southampton.
From London
Follow the A3 (Junction 10 on the M25) south towards Guildford. About 3 miles past Guildford, at the Milford turning, take the A283 to Petworth, then the A285 to Chichester for about 6 miles.
Just beyond Upwaltham, turn right at the brown Goodwood sign. At the next Junction turn left, following the brown sign to the hotel. The hotel entrance is a further 2 miles along on the right.

From the East
Follow the A27 towards Chichester. At the Tangmere roundabout before Chichester, turn right following signs for Boxgrove & Halnaker.
Go through the village and straight over at the crossroads, (there is a flint wall on your right). Continue on this road for about half a mile, turn left at the T junction and the hotel entrance is a few yards on the right.

From the West
Follow the A27 to Chichester. At Chichester, stay on the A27 By-Pass/Ring Road. After the only set of traffic lights, take the second exit at the next roundabout signposted Goodwood. At the next roundabout take the second exit.
200 yards after the Goodwood Motor Circuit & Aerodrome entrance, turn right at the roundabout, signposted Petworth & Halnaker (brown signs for The Goodwood Park Hotel). Turn left at the next crossroads and the hotel is 150 yards on the left.

Public Transport Directions

By rail Rail services
There is a regular service from London Victoria to Chichester (1hour, 40 minutes), plus the coastal service from Brighton and Portsmouth. Buses or taxis are available at Chichester Station.
