Havant has plenty to offer to particants and spectators of all ages, in all weathers.

Why not pay a visit to one of our leisure centres, sports clubs and activity centres where you'll find a whole range of activities to suit everyone from the sports enthusiast to those who prefer a more leisurely pace.

 

Havant Leisure Centre

Swimming pools, gym, sauna, steam room. Aerobics, keep-fit, step box and callisthenics. Squash, indoor bowls and line dancing. Time Out Restaurant and Bar. Crèche. Special sessions including: 50+ Fun Club, Inflatable Fun Swim Sessions, Adventure Playtime, Saturday Club for Kids and Holiday Activity Programme.


Skateboard Park
The skateboard Park is available free of charge at Beachlands, Havant with a variety of ramps to suit a range of abilities but remember your own boards and safety equipment. There are also parks at Wecock Open Space, Stakes Lodge, College Road Open Space, St. Clares Avenue Open Space, Bartons Triangle and Emsworth Recreation Ground.

Peter Ashley Activity Centre

Waterlooville Pool

Swimming pools, gym, sauna and steam room. Classes include: Aqua Aerobics, Aqua Circuits and Tone and Trim. Holiday Fun Sessions.

Bowlplex

Fully automated lanes, Sports bar and grill. Dance floor. Video world arcade. American pool pit.

Ro-Ro Sailing Project
Hambeldon Road, Waterlooville

Access to watersports and other leisure activities for disabled people. Includes yachting, cat cruising, wave runners, dingy sailing and waterski-ing as well as cycling, tennis and flying.


Bowling
There are a number indoor and outdoor bowling facilities available in the area. Bowling greens are located at Emsworth, Front Lawn, Bidbury Mead, Waterlooville, Cowplain, Hayling Park and Purbrook Heath. Indoor bowling is available at Havant Leisure Centre and of course there is Ten Pin bowling at Bowlplex.

Tennis
There are many tennis courts throughout the Borough.

Squash
This is offered at Havant Leisure Centre and various other locations within the Borough.

Adventure Sports
The Borough forms an excellent base for participating in some of the extreme sports opportunities in and around the area. These include skiing and snowboarding at Southampton and hang gliding and paragliding at Queen Elizabeth Country Park. There is also go-karting in Fareham, flying at Goodwood and even Llama trekking on the South Downs.

Spectator Sports
Havant Rugby Club, the Football, the Hockey Club and also the Cricket Club host games throughout the year. But if you are more into races there is greyhound racing at Portsmouth and horse racing at Goodwood and Fontwell
